By Their Fruits

At the installation of the new archbishop of Washington D.C., Cardinal Robert McElroy, there were many Cardinals and priests, but very few were in attendance otherwise. It was stunning, usually such events are packed. Could it be that Catholics are finally fed up with the bishops for so many things, including the sexual abuse scandal, relying on corrupt government money, Pope Francis emphasizing "climate change" over saving souls, getting away from Catholic teaching on marriage and sexuality and so much more.
It seems that bishops have been bribed by government money to stop teaching the faith. They were quiet for 4 years as Joe Biden essentially continually spit on the Catholic Church, though he claimed to be a Catholic. However, when President Trump tried to restore the rule of law, many bishops lost their minds. And when President Trump stopped funding corrupt Catholic entities, such as Catholic Charities and others. The bishops then sued the Trump Adm. They can't seem to get along without government money, they fear they might have to go back to teaching the Catholic faith, something that a number of them don't truly believe in.
It seems that most of the flock are just exhausted by what the bishops have put them through. Vatican II greatly wrecked the Catholic Church by design. It was obviously infiltrated by enemies of the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church has always been an enemy of tyrants. They know they can't control a virtuous society.
If the hierarchy of the Catholic Church want to bring back the flocks, they will have to admit that Vatican II was a mistake ande a disaster and return the Catholic Church to being Catholic.
