Heavenly Mother was Nerfed and Retconned in 1890

The Doctrine of Heavenly Mother and the revelation known as D&C 132 are seemingly inseparable. When we announced the end of polygamy in 1890, one of the costs of this was the loss of the knowledge of Heavenly Mother.

Somewhat inexplicably, yet predictably foreseeable. This causes women to complain a lot. As they feel the existence of Heavenly Mother with no further details is demeaning. But as we know from the historical record Brigham Young had fleshed out the doctrine very clearly in his time, and the women complained about that too.

God's Plan of Salvation, Seemingly puts men at a huge disadvantage, when it comes to being able to participate in the work and the glory of the exaltation of his family. Polygamy as a doctrine logically follows from the introduction of the idea of heavenly parents and God having a physical body.

Since marriage is required for Exaltation, seemingly many more "seats" are available for women in the grand council than ever will be available for men.

If polygamy was not allowed somehow, God would be an adulterer, and Christ and illegitimate bastard son. Not to mention the lineage of Ephraim would be a bastard lineage as well.

Abusing a lower law usually just means special wigs and light switches, but as Celestial marriage is a higher law it has a much higher potential for abuse. Just like how consecration opens the door for many economic abuses. The doctrine of polygamy is baked into the cake of the Restoration. (The baking analogy is so women can understand). If Joseph Smith was a prophet, then we better get busy accepting it or get busy finding a New Church.

Per usual, women seem to complain about all this stuff far more than men. They constantly compare themselves to the elite men who would have the opportunity to practice polygamy if it were instituted today, and consequently will always feel inferior to these elite men no matter their situation. Invisible to them are the rest of us men who would not practice any gamy at all in said system. Personally, I plan on having a great time without any of them in the Terrestrial Kingdom.
