Why Cooperation Matters when You're Detained

Police officers responded in relation to a man’s unauthorized presence in a school building. The subject was watching a football on the television and had fallen asleep, which is against posted rules. He was informed that he was to be arrested, searched, cited and then released.

The subject then advised that he was in possession of a pocketknife (to which he cooperatively turned over to the officer). He also informed that was in possession of a cocaine rock and cocaine pipe. He was cooperative and honest throughout his entire contact.
