Team Profiles: Set G Episode 4 | Sand

Episode 4 of Team Profiles: Set G will be about Sand.

Sand is a mechanic introduced in Generation 2 that was introduced alongside the attack Sandstorm that summoned sand. Since then, it has received support in the forms of Sand Stream, Tyranitar and Hippowdon's abilities, and Sand Spit, Sandaconda's signature ability. However, Sand's style has not really changed that much since it's release in Generation 2. It still serves as a tool to mitigate residual healing effects and wallbreaking support tools.

Sand in Set G is no different. With a lot of teams centered around Pokemon like Koraidon and Kyogre running around Battle Stadium, it is important to go over Sand's role in the format as a tool to out them.
