I saw a bear, it was sitting there,
With big, sharp teeth and a fluffy stare!
I thought, "Oh, wow, it looks so sweet!"
But I don’t think I should pet those feet!

They might look friendly, but they’ll say "Go-go!"
With claws and teeth, oh what a sight,
You should not pet them, it’s not alright!

I met a fox, it was quick as light,
I thought, "Hey, maybe I'll give it a bite!"
But wait a minute, I’m feeling scared,
Foxes don’t want hugs, they’re not prepared!

Wild animals, oh no-no!
They might look friendly, but they’ll say "Go-go!"
With sharp little claws and teeth so bright,
You should not pet them, it's not polite!

A squirrel on a branch, a raccoon on a stump,
They're not your pets, they’ll give you a jump!
They have wild instincts, don’t you forget,
If you get too close, you might regret!

Lions are big, tigers are tall,
They’re so majestic, but that’s not all!
They’re wild and strong, not pets to meet,
They like their space and don’t want to greet!

You should not pet them, it’s not alright!

So when you see animals out in the wild,
Remember to wave and stay at a mile.
Admire from far, give them space,
Wild animals need their own special place!
