Kate Middleton appeared at St. Patrick's Day after a year of absence

After a year's absence due to illness, Kate Middleton, Prince of Wales, appeared in the annual St. Patrick's Day parade alongside the Irish Guards at Wellington Barracks in Westminster, London, on March 17.

Kate, 43, appeared in a green dress by Alexander McQueen, the color that symbolizes St. Patrick's Day and good luck. She completed her look with black heeled boots, a green hat and a Cartier clover pin. After Kate arrived, she first visited the Irish Guards before receiving a sprig of clover to pin to her collar.

One of the sweetest scenes of the ceremony was the moment when Kate presented Torla Moore, the Irish Guard dog, with a sprig of clover. This dog is the symbol of the Irish Guard and is present at this event every year.
