Kangaroos released in the US

Kangaroos are not native to the United States, but there have been occasional reports of escaped pet kangaroos or small populations in private reserves. Some exotic animal enthusiasts and zoos have kept kangaroos, and when they escape, they can sometimes survive for a while in the wild. However, there is no established wild kangaroo population in the U.S.
