SBC Family,

I finally have my email problem sorted out. I apologize for not getting the last two lessons to you. I hope you missed them!

Tonight we will talk a little bit about the difference between confessing and repenting. Some think these are the same thing. When you confess you are repenting. This is not accurate. There are circumstances when you should confess and a different set of circumstances when you should repent. I hope to highlight the differences.

Then we will press on to Paul’s prayers that the Corinthians don’t do evil. We need to pray that we not do evil. Otherwise we will do evil. He also prays for their growth to maturity. We need to pray for growing to maturity. These things are conditioned on prayer in the plan of God for our lives.

Finally Paul will explain his reason for writing and give some important exhortations as well as a salutation from those who are with him and a benediction that is Trinitarian.

Always bring prayers. Pray for our church. Unity. Always a big project at a church is an opportunity for Satan to destroy the unity we have in Christ who shed His blood for us to so there would be no division. There is no good reason for division. We want to stretch our arms and reach more people. We are doing an outreach project. We want to attract people to our teaching of the word and the Lord Jesus Christ. Partner in prayer with me! Expect God to do great things. Great is His faithfulness!

See the attachment and see you tonight,
Jeremy
