Doug Sparks from NoVanGogh
The Los Angeles-based music production team NoVanGogh has released their latest single 'You're Right There', a heartfelt pop anthem that serves as a beacon of reassurance.
NoVanGogh was conceived by songwriter-producers Doug Sparks and Chris Hastings as a way to release pop-infused music that straddles diverse styles of music, utilizing the finest musical talent that LA has to offer.
'You’re Right There' itself is an uplifting collaboration between Doug Sparks and co-writer Robin Goodchild, immersed in the reassurance of an ideal romantic relationship. Here, Robin (vocals and guitar) is accompanied by Lydia Salnikova (vocals), Brant Cole (drums), Andrew Gold (bass), W.V. Malpede (piano) and Melanie Bomar (percussion).
Doug Sparks explains, “You’re Right There is a throwback the more joyful songs people may have heard in the 70s or even in the 90s. We choose to have the song performed as a duet between Robin and Lydia, ultimately creating a more intimate vibe."
Creators of sublime pop, NoVanGogh’s sound is highlighted by a continuous morphing of styles and genres producing sounds worthy of your attention. Their artistry shines through in a tapestry of genres, making for a rewarding listening experience.
In a world often filled with uncertainty, 'You're Right There' captures the essence of a relationship built on steadfast support, trust and comfort with one another. The track's lyrics, combined with NoVanGogh's catchy melodic style, offer an emotionally resonant experience for the listener - a testament to the transformative power of genuine connection.
Exploring the feeling of finding solace and strength in another person, and the relief that comes with knowing you're never truly alone, here NoVanGogh celebrates the freedom and joy found in a love that liberates, ultimately conveying a powerful message of hope and emotional security.
'You're Right There' is out now everywhere digitally, including Spotify, Apple Music and Bandcamp.
