The world of the living is in peril. Legion, an unholy creature of evil has recruited five of the worst of humanity to create an Asylum in Deadside, the place were all go when they die. Michael Leroi takes on the mantle of the Shadow Man, a being able to walk between the worlds, and along with his allies Agnetta and Jaunty, he must battle the armies of Legion and gather the Dark Souls to prevent a sinister prophecy from being fulfilled.
