Brian. 2024. Brian goes down with invisible, undetectable seizures that I am trying to discover the end and beginning of (no, he is not just sleeping). But then he comes back and comes out of it. I THINK, on his own. This is one of those days, that last week -he was home up here in the U.P.. He had went into status epilepticus everyday for 5 days in a row, randomely. Most of those days i wound up giving 10 mg diazepam to stop the status, but not every time.There was a time or two that we got by without it, which was good because he needed to keep that thresh hold for benzodiazepines down. He needs benzodiazepines to work in order to treat the Catatonia, which i feel is the root cause of these new seizures. But, Doctors might not agree with that. I don't know, sometimes the seizures manifest as a continual symptom of Catatonia and i have to determine if he is truly in status epilepticus or not, without an eeg machine.
