Flags to be lowered to honor former legislator

Governor Gretchen Whitmer has ordered U.S. and Michigan flags within the State Capitol Complex to be lowered to half-staff today to honor and remember former State Senator Darwin Booher. Booher served three terms in the House and two terms in the Senate beginning in 2005. He is survived by his wife and four children. Flags should be returned to full staff on Saturday.
