Searching for Daring-class Destroyers at HMNB Portsmouth

I used Google Earth to search for the Daring-class destroyers at HMNB Portsmouth. The sleek Type 45s stood out in the morning light—built for air defense with powerful radar and Sea Viper missiles that can hit targets over 100 km away. Around them, patrol boats and support ships filled the busy docks. Old red-brick warehouses mixed with modern cranes and workshops, showing centuries of naval history. Nearby, HMS Victory still rests, while Portsmouth city and the Spinnaker Tower rise beyond the harbor.
