Israel kills record number of Palestinian kids in one day, with Nora Barrows-Friedman

The Israeli air force launched massive attacks on Gaza early Tuesday, killing at least 400 Palestinians and injuring hundreds more.

The barbaric bombardment shattered the fragile ceasefire agreement that had given more than two million besieged Palestinians a respite from Israel’s daily massacres since 19 January.

But the scenes of utter horror, human bodies torn apart and people in despair have returned in force.

“At least 174 Palestinian children in Gaza were killed in Israeli airstrikes early this morning, marking one of the largest one-day death tolls since the beginning of the genocide,” the human rights group Defense for Children International-Palestine, stated.

On Wednesday, Israeli defense minister Israel Katz issued what he called a “final warning” to the “citizens of Gaza.”

“Take the US president’s advice. Return the hostages and expel Hamas and other options will be presented to you, including relocating to other places in the world for those who wish,” Katz said. “The alternative is utter destruction and devastation.”
