DESPERATE Ubisoft Sponsors Hasan to Stream Assassin's Creed Shadows

Ubisoft thought it would be a wise investment to sponsor a streamer not known for gaming to play and promote Assassin's Creed Shadows, fresh off a high profile suspension for advocating the death of a sitting member of US Congress. But it's not the only government this disaster has run afoul of.

The National Diet of Japan had a discussion about the digital desecration of several historic shrines in the game. This meeting prompted the Day One patch to remove actions you can take to destroy objects in the shrine in the game, but the historical vandalism is still rampant in this disgraceful game.

Perhaps Asmongold is on to something that companies in the future need to pay streamers to avoid games they don't want the public know the issues of.
