DISNEY Shareholders Vote to Push More LGBTQ+ Content

Disney shareholders voted overwhelmingly to continue to push LGBTQ content in a vote that was called under concerns the company has been losing customers over politics.

It has been obvious to everyone Disney has been losing customers over the last few years with many pointing to the company’s embrace of politics as a contributing factor. Disney is seemingly aware of this and has deliberately toned down some things in their recent movies that could be deemed overtly political, to great success. However, it would seem many company shareholders are not happy with this and have voted against proposals to force Disney to tone down on this rhetoric.
