After a reunion in the colony of Horizon, the Illusive Man forwards Shepard three more dossiers to complete Shepard's team of ever-talented specialists to prepare for taking on the Collectors.

Illium:

Exploring Illium: Shepard arrives on Illium, a corporate-run asari world filled with high-end trade and questionable business practices. Here, they reconnect with Liara T'Soni, now an information broker, and explore the bustling city.

Loyalty Mission: Miranda: The Prodigal: Miranda Lawson tasks Shepard with helping her rescue her sister, Oriana, from their manipulative father. The team fights through Eclipse mercenaries led by Captain Enyala and ensures Oriana escapes to safety, solidifying Miranda’s loyalty.

Dossier: The Assassin: Shepard tracks down Thane Krios, a deadly drell assassin, infiltrating a high-rise to eliminate his latest target, Nassana Dantius. After reaching the penthouse and witnessing Thane execute Nassana, he joins Shepard’s team.

Dossier: The Justicar: Shepard encounters Samara, an asari Justicar hunting a criminal named Niftu Cal. To prove their trustworthiness, Shepard helps Samara track down an Eclipse merc named Pitne For, leading to a confrontation in a warehouse. Once the mission is complete, Samara joins the team.

Liara: System Hacking and The Observer: Liara enlists Shepard’s help to hack security terminals across Illium to uncover the identity of "The Observer," a shadowy enemy. After investigating several suspects, Shepard deduces the truth, which can be used to kill or spare the target.

Side Quest: Gianna Parasini: Shepard reunites with Gianna Parasini, an undercover agent from Noveria. Shepard decides to warn the asari criminal engaged in illegal trade deals.

Side Quest: Indentured Service: Shepard mediates a contract dispute over a quarian working for an asari trader.

Side Quest: Salarian Family Data: Shepard recovers lost family data for a salarian businessman.

Side Quest: Smuggling Evidence: A smuggler asks Shepard to retrieve evidence of his illicit activities, allowing Shepard to decide whether to turn it in or destroy it.

Side Quest: Stolen Goods Found: Shepard finds lost goods and decides whether to return them or sell them.

Side Quest: Lost Locket Found: A sentimental locket belonging to Miranda's sister, Oriana, is found and can be returned to its owner.
