The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), under Elon Musk’s leadership, reports $115 billion in estimated savings from slashing wasteful spending across federal agencies.

Key accomplishments include canceling $580 million in bloated Pentagon contracts, cutting $1.5 billion in IRS tech consultant deals, and streamlining over $900 million in federal fleet costs.

DOGE also renegotiated procurement deals saving $3.2 billion and eliminated $4.7 billion in redundant administrative programs.

Though it revised some early projections, including a $150 million reduction in claimed lease savings, the department continues aggressively targeting inefficiency in federal operations.
