🇬🇧 Our Visit to RAF Wethersfield Migrant Camp

Anyway, enough of that. I think we all know by now that SERCO, Mears Group, Clearsprings, and the boys and girls from Care4Calais are milking us dry and flooding our lands with young male migrants that just can’t seem to leave our women and children alone.

Today, we visited Wethersfield Asylum Seekers Centre in Essex. This site houses over 1,700 male asylum seekers, all of whom have recently arrived in the UK. Originally built as an RAF airbase during World War II, it was repurposed by the Home Office in 2023 as an asylum accommodation centre, despite public backlash and legal challenges.

When we arrived, we saw over 20 brand-new minibuses shuttling migrants in and out of the site, heading to places like Colchester for shopping trips. Drivers told us they’re earning £250 cash per day - a staggering £5,000 per month - while the companies behind these contracts, like SERCO and Mears Group, rake in billions.

We launched the drone and saw the full scale of the facility: brand-new pods with solar panels, gyms, games rooms, and even a cinema experience. While some migrants we spoke to weren’t happy with the food or broadband, others admitted they had no complaints about free NHS care, days out, or the gym.
