🌳Royal Botanic Gardens🥀New Kew View {4K/UHD}

🪴A rainy day exploration of Britain's famous Royal Botanic Gardens -- London's largest UNESCO World Heritage site. AKA Kew Gardens, it's also host to the planet's largest botanical collection.
Featuring 18C to 20C landscaping techniques and elements, this royal park houses the most diverse botanical and mycological collections in the world -- representing nearly 95% of the vascular plants and 60% of the fungi. TKG is a leading conservation & scientific lab and home to plant scientists who study more about biodiversity. We used TFL rail/tube to get there and back.

🏚 Kew Gardens open every day except for the 24th & 25th December.
On weekdays they are open from 10am -- 7pm with last entry at 6pm.
On weekends they are open from 10am -- 8pm with last entry at 7pm.

🧑‍🎨 Exiting the green grounds we luckily stumbled upon some still wet stencil street art by the (in)famous Banksy -- a pseudonymous street artist, political activist and filmmaker from England. His real identity remains unconfirmed, adding an air of mystery to his work. Emerging from the Bristol underground scene in the 1990s, Banksy is known for his satirical and thought-provoking street art, often created using a distinctive stenciling techniques. His works frequently address themes like capitalism, politics, and social issues, blending dark humor with powerful commentary. Banksy's art has appeared on walls, streets, and bridges worldwide, making him a global icon of guerrilla art.
