The analogy of the Trinity being like water, ice, and vapor is wrong. God is not just shifting forms; He is the Everlasting God—three distinct Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—always existing as one true God. Jesus praying to the Father is not Him praying to Himself. It's showing the deep, loving relationship between the Father and the Son. Jesus wasn’t talking to Himself but was talking to the Father, showing true submission and obedience as a perfect man while also being fully God.

When Jesus prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will,” He was showing complete obedience to the Father’s will, proving His perfect love and faithfulness. - Matthew 26:39

The Father even called Jesus God, saying, “Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever.” This proves Jesus’ divine authority. - Hebrews 1:8
