Ancient City Under The Great Pyramid of GIZA

In March 2025, advanced Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) scans, coupled with Doppler Tomography, revealed a vast underground complex beneath the Khafre Pyramid at Giza. This discovery includes a network of multi-level structures, deep cylindrical wells, and large chambers, extending approximately two kilometers beneath the Giza Plateau. Researchers, including Corrado Malanga from the University of Pisa and Filippo Biondi, utilized cutting-edge radar technology to map these previously hidden features, suggesting a complexity that challenges the traditional view of the pyramids as mere tombs.
The scans identified five identical structures near the pyramid’s base, each with five horizontal levels and a sloping roof, connected by geometric pathways. Below these, eight hollow cylindrical wells, arranged in two parallel rows, descend to a depth of 648 meters. These wells, surrounded by spiral pathways, converge into two massive cubic chambers, each roughly 80 meters per side. The scale and layout of this system, stretching beneath all three Giza pyramids, have fueled speculation about its purpose—potentially as an energy or water management system rather than a burial site.
This find has sparked debate about an advanced ancient civilization. Some propose these structures could be remnants of a sophisticated society with knowledge of engineering or energy harnessing, drawing parallels to theories of the Great Pyramid as a power generator. The detection of vibrations within the pyramid’s internal structures supports ideas of functional design, possibly involving sound or energy conduction. However, mainstream archaeology remains cautious, awaiting further verification through excavation—which faces significant hurdles due to strict regulations around the Giza site.
While the data from these scans is credible, derived from peer-reviewed research and advanced imaging, it lacks widespread confirmation from the broader scientific community. The Khafre Project aims to explore further, but approval for physical investigation is uncertain. For now, the discovery deepens the mystery of Egypt’s pyramids, hinting at a past more complex than previously understood, yet leaving definitive answers just out of reach.
