Feed Me - If Schumer and The Swamp were a band

After seeing Chuck Schumer mock the American people for not wanting the Federal Government to take their money at every turn through taxes, licenses, permits, etc - and spend it poorly, corruptly, and exploitatively - I was a bit miffed. However, I migrated that miffedness to muse territory and used it to make a song.

FEED ME

We live off your tax dollars
with the corrupt we are in bed
Your money pours into our coffers
That's why they call us The Fed

We hide your cash in NGOs
and feed it to our shells
we pad our pockets and fill our wallets
and pay our friends quite well

But now you've brought in Donald Trump
and that nuisance Elon Musk
to pull the plug and drain the swamp.
Our sea of cash has dried up.

You're a threat to our Democracy! (our greed)
And by democracy we mean (our greed)
to our HYPOCRISY
our BUREAUCRACY

I'm The Fed. Now feed me.

We paid our dues and sold our souls,
We did everything to get what we want.
Your money is ours, it belongs to The Fed
And now you're stealing from us in the Swamp

But we still have control of the gullible few
and if you don't settle down, we'll sick them on you
To dox your families and torch your cars.
Can't hide from us, MAGA. We know who you are!
