System Sensitivity

It seems, to your humble scribe, that as our system became "cleaner," that is less toxic, less loaded with fat & other poisons that retard the metabolism/cleansing system, the sharper our senses became. This isn't always a "good" thing, because now, instead of detecting stuff like cigarette exhaust from ten feet away, for example, we can detect it from 20 feet away. We have the same experience with "dog" -- that general odor that tells you there are dogs nearby.

I've read testimonies from people who have claimed that their eyes have become lighter (less dark) when they lost weight. We've been anticipating that our eyesight would improve with less fat swirling around in our head. Maybe it has improved, (I don't wear glasses inside, because everything is close enough to see), but everything beyond 5 or 6 feet is a blur. Maybe we'll get back to the eye muscle exercises this year.
