History, as we know it, is often a distorted reflection of past events. It is shaped by powerful interests and can be misleading. George Orwell once said, "Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past." This statement highlights how history can be manipulated to serve contemporary agendas.

The notion that Islam and Christianity have always been in conflict is a misconception. Until the 17th century, Islam was considered a branch of Christianity. Arabic-speaking Christians used "Allah" to refer to God, just as Jesus did in the Quran. Historical figures like Afansiy Nikitin, who called upon "Allah" for protection while identifying as Christian, illustrate this integration.

From a Christian perspective, the symbol on St. Stephan's Cathedral might not be a crescent moon but an eclipsed sun, symbolizing the resurrection of Jesus. The star could represent the Star of Bethlehem, a symbol of Christ's birth.

The authenticity of Marco Polo's travels is questionable. His accounts were written in the third person and lack personal details. It's possible that he never visited the places he described, and his stories were embellished over time. Geographical names were used loosely, leading to later misidentifications.

The traditional chronology of history has been criticized for inaccuracies. Scholars have questioned the authenticity of ancient documents and historical events, suggesting that much of what we know as history is a construct.

In essence, history is a construct of those in power, filled with fabrications.
