Trouble, trouble and more trouble! Sometimes it seems like that is all that life seems to dish out. But we aren't the only ones that have dealt with the constant struggle of difficulties, and when it came to the early church, it was something they were no strangers to.

Today, Jim Barnhart takes us to 1 Peter, and takes a look at that all important question of what good can pain and suffering serve in our lives? And where is God in all of it?

We are a Bible-Based, Jesus Only small community church located in rural South-East Minnesota. Our building was originally constructed in 1861 and is the oldest protestant church building in continuous use in our county.
Many people have come and gone throughout the generations, but our goal will always remain: To Serve Jesus only, and learn from His Living Word, the Scriptures.
Our small church body are all admittedly sinners, that openly strive to improve our walk daily, but also understand that we are Redeemed by the shed blood of Christ Jesus and declared innocent in God’s eyes due to Grace Alone!
There is no act of baptism, charity or observation of communion that deems us worthy. No amount of following the law of Moses, or the ever-popular observation of legalism in many churches today that will save us. That is us believing in ourselves, rather than what Christ did for us completely.
