Boston, Massachusetts UFO Incident

The first recorded UFO sighting in America dates back to March 1st, 1639, when John Winthrop, the governor of the Massachusetts Bay Colony, documented a mysterious event in his personal journal.

Winthrop's writings, which detailed the early days of the colony, include a strange account that has puzzled historians and researchers for centuries.

This sighting, occurring long before the modern concept of UFOs, is one of the earliest documented cases of unexplained aerial phenomena in North
America.
