Using the Socratic Method in Evangelism

The Socratic Method is a process of dialogue, based on questioning, that inspires analysis, critical thinking and debate.
Primarily, the socratic method was designed for moral and philosophical enquiry, but using the socratic method in evangelism has proven to be very effective in appealing to logic and reason.
It helps to structure constructive and even challenging conversations, while guiding the flow of the discussion, without descending into argument or pure rhetoric.
