Society Thinks It’s Progressing—But we’re just repeating history & ignoring THIS TRUTH!

Our world today is, in many ways, better than in past generations. We have airplanes that allow us to fly across the globe in a matter of hours, high-speed trains, and electronic communication that enable us to connect and see what's happening around us at incredible speeds. It has been said that the greatest generation was that group who lived through the Great Depression and World War II. But can the same be said for our generation, or are we missing something? In this Viewpoint, we invite you to consider whether our generation may not be any better off than previous generations and to reflect on the benefit of learning from, and about, the past.
