Trump to cover rescued astronauts’ pay
The president will pay overtime out of his own pocket.

#1. Butch and Suni, the stranded astronauts received no overtime after being stranded in space for 9 months: President Trump will pay them out of his own pocket.

#2. After 9 months in space [8 ½ months longer than planned] our astronauts have landed on good old terra firma. But this is where the problem begins, not ends.

#3. While in space, NASA authorized only $5 a day pay for ‘incidentals’ and no overtime or compensation for the screw-up, for which NASA is entirely responsible.

#4. Imagine being sent up on an 8-day mission that turns into 9 months. Imagine NASA and Boeing so incompetent as to risk your lives sending you up in a ship that’s leaking helium and has other flight issues.

#5. Enter Donald J. Trump, who’ll pay these guys’ overtime out of his own pocket.

#6. Mr. Trump is putting his money where his mouth is, much to the chagrin of the incompetent beagles running NASA.

#7. But wait, there’s more.
#8. In September of last year Space X launched a rescue ship only to have NASA override them, ordering a further 6-month delay before rescue of Butch and Suni.

#9. It’s time to scrap NASA, having outlived its usefulness and Boeing, showing their incapable of building jet airliners, let alone spacecraft.

The solution:

TURN OVER ALL SPACE OPERATIONS TO SPACE X AND BLUE ORIGINS WHILE UNDER SPACE FORCE.

Private aerospace is the answer. There are some things the government shouldn’t be allowed to dabble with.
