The end of the road for my run of the first Metroid game and I have to say the game is great and I did really enjoy this one coming fresh off of Super Metroid. I could swear though this game felt so much longer and bigger when I first played but I guess that is always the case with games especially when you get a bit lost or stuck. Mother Brain she is annoying as ever in this game if not more than even in Super! I took a lot of damage just trying to get over to her and it is very chaotic and hard to avoid everything since there are shots being fired at you from all over the screen so I just ended up tanking a bunch of these hits and hoping for the best and eventually I came out on top. Sadly the ending I got did not get Samus in that nice ol bikini set you gotta beat the game in under a certain time and I guess even as fast as I felt like I played this game I was still short ah well I played as pretty much Zero Suit Samus this entire run! Anyway, enjoy the ending and last boss and as always see ya next game!

Alrighty now picking up right where the last video left off I go straight down into Ridley's hideout! To take down the 2nd and last of the major space pirates in this game before the last boss! Ah Ridley's hideout what can I say about it? Well..It is not as bad as going throigh Kraid's Lair it isn't as confusing or massively maze like still you can wind up lost easy if you aren't careful, and the music here isn't as great as Kraid's Hideout but good enough..You know I am noticing something here it seems like in this game everything went to Kraid, the better music, the harder boss fight overall like wow and Ridely is supposed to be the strongest of the pirates and top member yet here he us, the easier level and the overall easier boss fight but in Super Metroid boy did all that flip over on its head. Maybe Kraid was the leader all this time here? heh.

Pushing on in the next part of this Metroid run of mine since i have what I feel is more than enough powerups to Samus's arsenal especially with the Varia Suit and Wave Beam and a few energy tanks I think i am ready enough to tackle one of the two major space pirates and my first choice is Kraid! Yeah I am gonna take down who i thought was the easiest of the two bosses and go for Kraid..In hindsight it seems Kraid and Ridley have swapped places at who is most annoying in this game, in Super Metroid Ridley was a pain to deal with in this game Kraid is the pain in the neck and not just Kraid himself oh no no his level is also annoying to deal with being almost mazelike so it is very easy to get your butt lost up in there!

The next part to this Mertroid run of my begins! So picking up from the last video I continue on my quest here trying to power Samus up as much as possible so that way I am ready to fight Kraid and Ridley. Since I grabbed the screw attack and hi jump boots in the last video I am now ready to get one of the main items of interest next and that is the Varia Suit for that sweet, sweet 50% damage reduction that is badly needed. Then my next objective lands me back in Norfair again since I have the Varia so now i feel more okay going further into Norfair (see I told y'all most of the really good upgrades are in Norfair) So the next goal of mine is the Wave Beam to replace my Ice Beam for awhile the Wave Beam is so much more useful in this game over the Ice Beam as it shoots through walls, has a higher attack power than the ice and hits enemies low to the ground which in this game since you have no way to shoot down at the floor is a godsend so I will be hanging onto the Wave Beam for as long as I possibly can here.

Alrighty now back with some more Metroid and in this part I go ahead and start exploring Norfair ah Norfair it is a pretty big and if not careful easy to get lost in area of the game but you literally have to go here if you want many of the good and worthwhile upgrades so you will be taking trips back and forth here a lot. As for me in this video well my reason for being here is my goal is the Varia Suit so I can get that 50% damage reduction but to get the Varia you need the hi jump boots to reach it and where are the boots? in Norfair, I also go ahead and grab another very useful thing from here and that is the Screw Attack so now I have that very early on as the Screw Attack in this game is soooo, so useful to have so getting it this early is a net positive for me.

Ah another day and another game since I am fresh off of finishing up Super Metroid the next game I will be putting on here for all you wonderful followers of mine is Metroid the very first one on the Nintendo Entertainment System! Yeah I am really taking it back now! Ah the very first Metroid an underrated one in its own series but personally after playing this game I have to say I enjoy this one just as much as I do Super Metroid! Just a few annoyances in this game here and there but that is to be expected this is the very 1st game. Also since this game has passwords I will be taking the chance given to me and play as Samus but without her suit!! Yeah it is possible to play the game from the beginning from scratch with the password I used to use Samus not wearing her suit so heh Zero Suit before it became a thing eh? Anyway enjoy the start of a brand new journey as I go through another Metroid game right after finishing Super!
