«Jennifer Aniston was my favorite celebrity to work with»: meet Randy King, an American from a small town in Alabama who started his career in Hollywood as an extras and episodes actor. He featured in the Spider-man movie, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and many other films. He was even ’beaten up’ by Jennifer Aniston in the movie «Office Christmas Party» (playing the role of a Russian mafioso).

Now he lives in a small Russian town called Ivanovo with his Russian wife Lyudmila, while taking up the career of a mime and performance artist at different kinds of event shows. He has a business partner, Sergey, who initially was his interpreter back in 1993, when Randy King was visiting Russia for the first time ever.

It took Randy 7 years to decide in favour of moving to Russia. His relatives were strongly against his decision and disapproved of it. There were times when the echoes of the Cold War was still strong, and such was the narrative that the USA and Russia were still sworn enemies.

Despite this, Randy became an American expat in Russia, seeking freedom and originality. He maintains that he has found it in Russia and was quoted as saying; «If I stayed in America I wouldn’t be truly happy.» Why would he make such a bold claim?
