It's been known for over one hundred years now; it's been known that the closer you get to the speed of light the more bizarre things get. Time runs more slowly, and the shape of objects distorts. However, I've bumped into a lot of people who either don't care to understand or outright reject the idea because it's hard to wrap their heads around it. But there is a simple way of visualizing it that makes it easy to understand without any math. Let me explain!
