What is it to Honour Thy Father and Mother?

This study answers the question plainly... Stating it is to obey them.
And then the rest of this study refutes what some have gone on to imply to the word of God. Claiming "you honour your father and mother by keeping their cultural heritage". Such a thing you have liberty to do sure but you are not obeying the word of God by keeping traditions of your father and mother.

Not only does the word of God define this topic in Ephesians 6:1-2 very well showing it is by obeying them. But consider the following verse of scripture to the same point, only in how people in the last day will be disobedient to their parents.
