Oscar-winning Palestinian director attacked in West Bank

Hamdan Ballal, a Palestinian co-director of the Oscar-winning documentary "No Other Land," was detained for a day by Israeli authorities in the occupied West Bank after being attacked by Jewish settlers.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) says it detained three Palestinians and one Israeli in the clash over suspicion of rock-hurling.
