SCRIPTURE READING FOR TODAY
Gen 33:2-4

2 He put the servant wives and their children at the front, Leah and her children next, and Rachel and Joseph last.
3 Then Jacob went on ahead. As he approached his brother, he bowed to the ground seven times before him.
4 Then Esau ran to meet him and embraced him, threw his arms around his neck, and kissed him. And they both wept.

The Word of God To Meditate On Today
Gen 33:2-4 - Esau Kissed Instead of Killing Jacob
Jacob after praying and expecting the favour of God in his reconciliation attempt with Esau, took courage and by the wisdom of God arranged his company, from the least loved to the most loved. Esau greeted his brother, Jacob, with a great hug and kiss. Imagine how difficult this must have been for a man who once had actually plotted his brother's death (Gen_27:41). But time away from each other allowed the bitter wounds to heal. With the passing of time, each brother was able to see that their relationship was more important than their real estate. This is instructive for us when we are sometimes faced with overwhelming challenges. PRAY - BELIEVE - BE BOLD AND CONFIDENT IN GOD - GUIDED BY THE HOLY GHOST, TAKE STEPS!

Personal Supplication
Father, by the spirit of faith, grant me the grace for bold and courageous steps in the face of overwhelming challenges in Jesus' name! 1 Chr. 19:13

13 Be of good courage, and let us behave ourselves valiantly for our people, and for the cities of our God: and let the LORD do that which is good in his sight.

Weekly Protection Covenant Declaration
Because I dwell in the secret place of the most High, I Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: My God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler, And from the noisome pestilence. For God shall give his angels charge over thee, To keep thee in all my ways. They shall bear me up in their hands, Lest I dash thy foot against a stone. I shall tread upon the lion and adder: The young lion and the dragon shalt I trample under feet. Because I have set my love upon God, therefore will He deliver me: He will set him on high, because I have known His name. I shall call upon Him, and He will answer me: He will be with me in trouble; He will deliver me, and honour me. With long life will God satisfy me, And shew me His salvation. So shall it be for me and my household throughout this week in Jesus' name!
