He claimed that he was looking for a future with Shannon, and she believed it for two years of talking to him. She helped send him money for an investment plan, a job, and even a wedding for the two of them. She sent him a whopping total of $120,000 over the course of two years and even took out a home equity loan of $100,000 to pay this money to him.
