Doug Collins says the VA must stop ‘feeding on itself,’ vows to refocus agency on veteran needs

Veterans Affairs Secretary Doug Collins vows to recenter the agency on the MISSION Act and expand healthcare choices for veterans. “We’re going to talk about preventive health going forward. We’re going to talk about benefits. But the big thing that we’re going to look at is a system that seems to be feeding on itself more than it was actually giving to the veteran,” he says.
