Al Denton, a former gunslinger turned town drunk, is the target of ridicule and abuse in a small Western town. When a mysterious peddler named Henry J. Fate offers him a chance at redemption with a magical gun, Denton finds his sharpshooting skills miraculously restored. But his newfound talent comes with a price, leading to a dramatic showdown that teaches him a lesson about fate, mercy, and second chances.
