Rebuilding Infrastructure: Road Construction in the DPR

Servicemen from the 271st separate road commandant battalion of the "East" group of forces are actively constructing new roads in the liberated territories of the Donetsk People's Republic. Utilizing standard construction equipment like dump trucks, graders, and bulldozers, they’re ensuring vital supply routes reach the front lines. The process involves multiple stages, including laying crushed stone and rolling it to form a durable road base. In challenging terrains where equipment previously struggled, a two-layer backfill technique is employed to create stable surfaces. So far, the logistics brigade has successfully built approximately 40 kilometers of new roads to support ongoing operations in the area.
