We pay for fed worker no shows. Genius

It appears we had a lot of people on our Federal payroll for years that were not working for the taxpayer money they were receiving!!! This is inexcusable!!!
I’m glad they are letting them go why should they get paid if they don’t show up to work, but 8 months pay is ridiculous. You go and pretend your working and get caught see what your employer would do
Fully remote worker here... not showing up to an office building does NOT mean you're not working. Given the rampant waste, fraud, and abuse, the question does need to be raised. That said, I do fully agree that the federal government is way too big and needs to be downsized.
