On May 13, while investigating illegal campfire smoke, Jack hears a male scream but finds no one at an abandoned campsite. His unease grows when he discovers ominous symbols and animal skulls near his tower. Despite reporting these incidents to Connor, they are dismissed as pranks or mere imagination.

As the days progress, Jack encounters more disturbing events including cult activity in the woods and an unsettling encounter with a man named Silas who claims to be performing maintenance on another radio tower—only for Jack to later learn that Silas is not affiliated with the park staff.
Climax and Conclusion

The tension peaks when Jack witnesses cult members around a burning altar and narrowly escapes being pursued by one of them. After reporting these incidents to his superiors and receiving disbelief from both authorities and family members regarding his claims of cult activity, Jack decides never to return to Ironbark State Park again.
