TODAY'S REAL LIFE COCKTAIL:
Rum Manhattan a la Ani

3 parts dark rum
1 part sweet vermouth
dash of Angostura Bitters
1 teaspoon liquid from good quality cocktail cherries

Hard shake over cracked ice
Strain and pour into a chilled cocktail glass
Dress with cherry

If you want a classic cocktail but want a break from bourbon or whisky, you will enjoy the warm, sweet taste of dark rum.
