Escape Can Kill You

Not so long ago Ukrainians were jubilant at the notion of expelling all Russians from the land mass of Ukraine, or just killing them all. Now, though, after more than a million Ukrainians are dead, some buried, many eaten, the jubilation has evaporated along with many of the neighbors. The TCC will take anyone they please to absorb the bullets and bombs while they collect the loot left behind by the dead. That knowledge drives some to seek a way out. But they find that razor wire is even less compassionate than the TCC.
