His historic success in the 2024 Primary Election, securing 30 out of 47 seats, is a testament to his ability to lead with integrity and vision. His commitment to public service continues to shape the future of Bhutan, ensuring that governance remains transparent, accountable, and people-centered.

Beyond his role in government, Kuenga Tashi is deeply invested in education and media—two powerful forces that drive societal change. As an Adjunct Faculty member at Sherubtse College, Royal University of Bhutan, he has mentored university students, equipping them with the knowledge and values needed to become ethical leaders and informed citizens. His background in broadcast journalism at Bhutan Broadcasting Service has also left a lasting impact. With a passion for truth and social justice, he was twice awarded Best TV News of the Year (2015 & 2016), recognizing his unwavering commitment to ethical reporting and transparency.

His dedication aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
