We Have to Do Better, Louisiana
On March 29, Louisiana citizens went to the polls and overwhelmingly rejected the four constitutional amendments proposed by the governor and the Republican-led legislature. Some of these amendments could have improved the state, but voters chose to maintain the status quo while continuing to complain about the need for change. If we truly want progress, we must be willing to vote for the solutions that can make a difference.
