Impact of Gracious Christians
Quote from the featured video:
“𝘋𝘪𝘥 𝘪𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘐 𝘬𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘥, 𝘢𝘥𝘮𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘥, 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘥? 𝘖𝘧 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦. 𝘈𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘢 𝘭𝘰𝘵.”
Larry Sanger, the co-founder of Wikipedia, says that philosophical arguments played a role in his conversion, but another important factor was the graciousness of Christians he knew. Their kindness and integrity made an impact on him.
Christians need to remember that it really matters how they treat people. You can win a debate with someone, but actually push them further away from Christ if you don’t show love.
