Objective: that the brethren avoid being foolish and gullible, rather be wise as our God

Define – fool/lish/ness, gullible, simple, prudence, wise, understanding

How we can prevent being Gullible?
1) Realize that its Foolishness, Shamefulness
a) Simple – unwise like a child - Proverbs 14:15
b) Deadly - Proverbs 1:32
c) Foolish - Prov. 1:22
d) No understanding - Prov. 7:7
e) Preventable Punishment received - Prov. 22:3, Proverbs 27:12
f) Silly - Hosea 7:11
g) Destruction - Hosea 4:6
h) Inherited Folly – affects the next generation - Proverbs 14:18
2) Know It’s Causes and Avoid
a) Not asking counsel from the Lord - Jos. 9:14, Prov 3:5-7
b) Carnal reasons - Genesis 3:6
i) Saw, food, eyes
c) Hate knowledge, truth, doctrine - 2 Timothy 4:3-4, Prov. 1:22
3) Know the Solution and Do after it
a) Be Prudent - Proverbs 14:15
b) Try every spirit - 1 Jn. 4:1
c) Understand wisdom – and have it - Prov. 8:5
d) Let Prudence be your crown - Proverbs 14:18
e) Ask the Lord for wisdom- be ready to receive - James 1:5
