Counterspy - Washington Woman Spy

A wealthy businessman in Washington, D.C. commits suicide after betraying his country. He was goaded into shooting himself by a female enemy agent. The script was subsequently heard on "Counterspy" on June 13, 1945 (see cat. #76649). Backing our great navy and army at the front is our invisible army of United States Counterspies who work quietly, effectively and swiftly against the enemies in our midst. They are the dread of the German Gestapo the Italian ogre and the Japanese black dragon. Imagine the ace counterspy of them all as David Harding specially appointed with the authority to work however or wherever he will. Three weeks ago in Washington a very prominent bachelor by the name of William R Terrace stood in the centre of his very expensive apartment. The time was 11.25pm.
