José Manuel Rodríguez Delgado was a Spanish neuroscientist known for his groundbreaking work in brain stimulation. Born in 1915, he pioneered research on the effects of electrical signals on the brain, famously demonstrating remote control of animal and human behavior using implanted electrodes. His most notable experiment involved stopping a charging bull with a radio-controlled device. Delgado's work contributed to neuroscience, neuroprosthetics, and mind control research, though it also sparked ethical debates. He later moved to the U.S., working at Yale University before returning to Spain. His legacy remains influential in brain-machine interfaces and neurotechnology.
